your health safety
Updated
August 11, 2020
As it has always been, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to the coronavirus, we have taken additional measures developed in tandem with provincial and local public health authorities to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
-
Our hotel teams are receiving ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.
-
We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) and have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
-
We ask that all guests wear a face covering in all public areas of the hotel.
-
We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
-
We are asking guests to self-identify if they have been in contact with someone who is/may be infected and/or those who have travelled internationally in the last 4 weeks.
-
We have been following guidelines of definitions for self-isolation vs self-monitoring. At this time, we are accepting guests who are self-monitoring. For the continued safety and security of our guests, we are not accepting guests who have been directed to self-isolate. In tandem with our governing bodies, we recommend if you are required to self-isolate, please travel directly home and remain home for 14 days.
-
We ask that you provide at least 2 meters of distance from guests or staff to prevent the spread of infection.
-
We have activated our Head Office response teams to provide around-the-clock assistance to our hotels and are prepared to act swiftly should we be alerted to a case of coronavirus at one of our properties.
